i didnt do FCBD this year but did last year. im a fan of the 50% off trade bins. Bob at Acme has those as normal every day items but usually he will put a few bins of ones that havnt been out yet. Atomic Robo is a pretty great comic. its very Hellboy-ish but a bit more comedy. ive read like 5 trades. but i see how it is like a sorta a read when you can rather than right away type of book.

Usually, the Acme in Peoria has leftover FCBD books leftover so you could probably grab a few still even though you missed Saturday.

Bob does bust out stuff from the “vault” sometimes. It’s like when you hide some of your kid’s toys for 6 months and bust them back out. They’re as exciting as they were when they were new.

I really do like Atomic Robo and the more I think about it, the more I like it. It’s a very fun, non-continuity book. To say it’s a more comedic “Hellboy” is very accurate.
